STILL NO BABY!!

Well here I am Thursday night and nothing happening. I must be a good cook because they just seem to hang in there till they are well cooked. Well not much is new besides the waiting game.

Here is a little of what has gone on this week:

On Saturday was a Atco Gas family picnic in Lethbridge. My parents, who had Heston, were going so rob and i decided to go as well. They always have prizes to be won and we really raked it in this year. Heston won 1 out of the 3 bikes and rob and I both won $25 gift certificates to a couple restaurants. My parents always seem to win at these things but it looks like the luck has transferred to us. -Jks-

They had a little train that Heston just loved and didn't want to get off. If we couldn't find him the first place to look was the train.

They had a few races you can see him just behind the little boy running as fast as he could.

Then they had a tug-a-war.First of all Heston went to the wrong side(the girls) but at least he was pulling the right direction for the boys!

Well that night i was able to attend my friends wedding in Cardston which was nice. I thought for sure i was going to miss it and be having a baby instead but I didn't. Having Heston home was a challenge at first as much as I missed him I was ready to beat him after about 1 hour. He was driving me Crazy. I must have forgotten how busy he really is.

On Sunday we took Heston out and let him try to ride his new bike. I thought for sure it would be too big for him but it only took him about 20 min and he had it all figured out. Now he's a pro and goes for a bike ride every night around our block.

The other night I went into Heston's room and he was sitting on the window cell watching rob wash his new toy and I thought it was cute so i took some pictures...

...then Heston took a few himself. He's quite the photographer.

That's about our life this week. Sorry for the novel. Hopefully the next time I write it will be after the baby is born and I will have pictures of Heston hugging the baby in his arms not in my belly...

Who's a cry baby?

Well i am a little sad tonight. My mom came out today to get her hair colored and ended up taking Heston home with her for the week. I have to go to Cardston for a friends wedding on Saturday so i will bring him home then. You would think I would be excited to have him go and have a break and I was.......right up to when they were leaving and i had to say goodbye.......then the tears started to flow and they kept on flowing and every time i would see something in the house that would make me think of him i would start all over again. You would have thought he died or something. Talk about a cry baby....yup that's me i guess. On the bright side, with out him here, now i can get some pictures and video's of him on here without having him pulling at me every second.

O.K. so i have tried and tried to get the video on here but i can't seem to make it work so too bad i will have to do it later i guess. Here is some pictures of Heston drawing/coloring instead. As you can tell he is very good at coloring the eyes!

I had picked up a web cam for my parents the other day so Heston could visit with them as well. He seemed to think that he could talk to anyone who's picture was on the computer and he is constantly asking for auntie Maicee. So now he can see his aunties and both grandparents when ever he wants. I am glad they have one...now i can talk to Heston and see him everyday while he's there. Well this week without Heston would sure be a good week to have a baby...wouldn't it!! Hopefully something starts to happen soon...i am getting rather uncomfortable. Well...we will keep you posted.

What time is it?

So here i am...it's Saturday afternoon (2:20pm to be exact) and i am still in my PJ's. That's OK though because i have accomplished a lot today already. I have cleaned the kitchen, scrubbed the bathroom, dusted the entire house and cleaned and organized the linen/odds closet. WOW what an accomplishment...but now i am really tired. All that's left is vacuuming that hopefully i can talk rob into doing later. Then when Heston wakes up we are heading to the greenhouse to buy some flowers for the pots that have been collecting all the rain we have had this past two weeks. We are so glad the rain has stopped and we can enjoy the outdoors. Poor Heston everyday would look out his window with such a sad face wanting to go out side soooo bad.

Well still nothing happening with me. No baby yet, Darn! Well here is a picture of me and my friend Jen we took the other day. She is due on the 25th and i am due on the 28th of June. Notice the difference in size. Yup i am way bigger...Hope that doesn't mean i am having a 10 lb kid. Well that is about all that's new in our life. Boring eh!!

No news yet...

Well i thought i would update my blog. The only thing is I don't really have anything to add. We are still awaiting the arrival of our new little one. I have less than 3 weeks left. We are really excited but i am a little scared of going through everything again. Heston i think is really starting to understand that there is a baby coming. Every night Heston has to give the baby a hug and kiss and reminds me that the crib is the babies bed and his is the big boy bed. He also has learned that it's not okay to jump in the crib. Yay!

Well here is a picture of me at 36 weeks. I am starting to really pack on the pounds. I have been going for my weekly check ups and i gain about 2-3 pounds a week. I hope this doesn't mean i am going to have a big baby. The picture isn't great but that's all i got. We bought a web cam so Heston could visit with grama and papa Bevans and that is what i took the picture with.


Well i took some Video of Heston finger painting the other day so i will attempt at adding some video clips of Heston in the near future.
